Description

Dr. Chaichian specializes in the diagnosis and management of all rheumatic diseases. As Director of the Stanford Lupus Clinic, he has a particular clinical, research, and teaching interest in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). He also has a secondary interest in connective tissue disease-associated interstitial lung disease (CTD-ILD). Along with Dr. Jennifer Yeh (Dermatology), he co-directs a Rheumatology-Dermatology multidisciplinary clinic at Stanford to facilitate expert management of patients with various skin/autoimmune overlap conditions including SLE with cutaneous manifestations.
